Greater City of Sudbury — TEDxYouthNickelCity.com is looking to nominate an individual, or individuals, from the Greater City of Sudbury who inspire and who have a global vision. This local innovator must have a compelling wish, must be able to demonstrate how this wish can catalyze a paradigm-shifting action, and show evidence that they can bring this wish to fruition!
So imagine an inspiring, high impact project that you’ve dreamed of or heard of for the Greater City of Sudbury – an idea that needs the support of a global community to become reality. The winner of the new TED Prize will have an ambitious wish — and the vision, pragmatism and leadership to turn it into reality. Not only will the winner receive the $1M in prize money, but they will also gain the support of the world wide TED and TEDx communities to support their BIG wish!
This is an exciting opportunity to identify someone in our city whose vision and work you truly respect and give them access to the capital to execute their project!
In addition, the person that nominates the winner will receive a free pass to TED2013 in Long Beach California! You have between now and August 31st, 2012 to nominate that very deserving trailblazer!
